JOHANNESBURG – The South African Institution of Civil Engineering is celebrating brilliant work that has cemented itself in the very fabric of our landscape this heritage month.
This year, The Robinson Graving Dock in Cape Town is being recognised as a National Historical Civil Engineering Landmark.
SAICE says the dock, officially opened in 1882, has made a significant contribution to maritime engineering, and economic growth in the region.
Sekadi Phayane-Shakane, CEO of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering discussed this with eNCA.
